Overheard at the Book Store
So today I was at the bookstore looking at the classics, when I overheard a woman walking down the aisle on her cell phone, the conversation went something like this
"Yes I'm serious"
"No... he's right in front of me"
"Oh he just turned around"
"He just smiled at me"
I was wearing my Royal Stewart with a black shirt and my black argyll top hose. I thought it was funny, it helped make it a good day.
"If the Party could thrust its hand into the past and say this or that even, it never happened—that, surely, was more terrifying than mere torture and death."

Hilarious - I'm surprised she didn't want you to talk to her friend on the phone!

I'm always reminded of a line from When Harry Met Sally in bookstore situations like this: "Don't look now...but someone is staring at you in 'Personal Growth.'"
Why, a child of five could understand this. Quick -- someone fetch me a child of five!

What a perfect opportunity to get a picture and a way to spread the word of X-Marks the Scot. I usually have my camera when I am kilted; however, I guess it depends on the situation etc...
