    Pants Inventory Time

So, its been five months since I've worn a pair of pants. Time to make some space for kilts and accessories.

So for a first of the year project while watching the games have dug out all my old pants to decide what to do with them.

Found I had 46 pairs of pants.

13 dress pants for work in assorted colors
11 pairs of jeans in assorted colors
    3 pair of cut-off jeans
2 pair of hiking pants with cargo pockets
    3 pair of hiking shorts
    6 pair of river shorts
3 pair of warm up pants
5 pair of old west replica pants

Didn't realize I owned so many pairs of pants.

I only have 33 kilts so far, and two are still at the kiltmaker's. So don't feel so bad. Maybe I can twist this into justifying more kilt purchases when the plastic cools off

Looks like our local domestic violence thrift shop is gonna get a big pants donation soon.

Gonna hang on to the old west replica pants...still haven't figured a way to blend kilts with that era's dress....

Or...could I send my jeans in to Steve at FK and have him cut the legs up into kilt panels for a couple of denim kilts and some poly/cotton kilts???;-)

Maybe we need a way, and a slogan, about recycling pants into kilts.

Ron, I need to do the same thing. I've only been in pants twice in the last four months, and that was only for a few hours. With weight that I've lost my pants are probably either too big or too small. I need more closet room because I'm planning on buying 5 more Stillwaters.

I could probably donate the pants to Goodwill. I've also thought about a trouser bonfire for roasting marshmellows, while a lone piper plays off in the distance.

Ron it sounds as if you have to catch up with the kilts!

Glad that you are planning to give them to a place that can use them, as I have done with mine.

2 pairs of jeans not used for a 4 months
2 pairs khaki not used for a 4 months
1 too small pair of dress pants
    Some shorts

Well... Only pants being used for 4 months being of uniform, track suit and skiing suit. Where the hell do I need the pants anymore? (i know, they're great for lighting up the fireplace!) ;D

EEEEeeek! Ron, what are you DOING to me? At 58 kilts, 59 from 14th Jan., I have slowed down to a point where you are likely to catch up with me! This is an intolerable situation in which I can see I'll have to cancel my plans to have the house redecorated this spring! I must splash out on new kilts, not paint, to maintain my position and reputation! Have pity, man!

[PS: There is not a single pair of trousers/pants in my home - not even pyjamas - nor shorts - and, I am not saying what I wear when slogging it out on my treadmill. You probably wouldn't want to know anyway!!!]

My pants inventory was easy. 1 pair of tux pants in the closet. That's it.

I used to do CAS and trainrobbin' as Six-Gun Scot good thinking right, after buying new wheel guns, no cash for a kilt.
