Parade
My cousin, my wife and I went to the Flag Day Parade over in Appleton. We had a great time. There were a few comments, all pretty good. The high spot was we went to a bar where we could sit at the window and watch the parade. The waitresses and bartenders really liked the kilt. When I went to get drinks I got out the ladies choices and the bartender mentioned they had Guinness on tap. When I went for a second the bartender bought it. Seems people were coming in to see the guy in the kilt and buying drinks so she figured I earned it as an attraction.

You've just reminded me that I got a free shooter from "the boys at the bar" last Kilts Night.
Tasted like licorice. Free is good but Bushmills is better.

Lord! I remember those brands, plus Adler Brau. Adler Brau is back as a brand at a micro brewery now, the rest I think are gone except Reinlander. Discovering a place with Guinness on tap was a very nice surprise. but for cheap swill the youngsters seem more inclined to Point beer.

Probably Jagermeister, a high octane licorice flavored German liquore. It is very popular among the younger crowd.

Bubba,
Please excuse a question from an ignorant "Other-side-of-the-Ponder", but what on earth is Flag Day, and why a parade?
