    In percentage terms

With the exception of Hamish, Graham, Bubba and several others who wear their Kilts/Cilts 100% of the time .. what about the rest of us. In percentage terms how often are you Kilted/Cilted.
I'll start by saying I'm Cilted 65/70% of the time.

I am trousered 23% of the time (40 hours out of 168 in a week). The remaining time is spent between naked and kilted, with naked winning out slightly just due to the fact that it's how I sleep.

Take away sleeping hours and I am trousered 38% of the time, with the remaining being kilted (minus some small transitional time, such as showering, etc...)
.. the kilt had concealed a blaster strapped to one thigh and a knife to the other. He was aware of the present gentle customs against personal weapons, but he felt naked without them. Such customs were nonsense anyhow, foolishment from old women - there was no such thing as "dangerous weapons," only dangerous people.

It varies seasonally between 15% to 25%

Winters here present some obvious challenges.

Just to be picky 99.8% would be true for me.
As a signwriter there are just a few occassions (about three this year) where I wear shorts for ladder work in very populated places, and again, cover-alls for some painting jobs.
I sleep unbifurcated also (an Indian lungi).

Strange, I am changing my work habits to suit the kilt..I'm less inclined these day to use paint if there is an alternative because I don't want to be 'out of kilter'.

My wife and I have been thinking of taking up cycling for some exercise, I'm reluctant only because I want to stay in a kilt and I'm not sure how acceptable a kilt would be on a bicycle, so we walk!

During the summer I'm kilted about 20-25% of the time. During the winter that rises to over 50% as it's too cold to ride the motorcycle.

Probably between 10-20%, depending on the week. It all depends on how I feel, if there are any events, and sometimes special requests .

I'd say, I'm kilted about 60 to 75 percent of the time. However, this is a bit misleading, because (not intending to get political here) due to the high price of gas and being on a fixed retirement income, I stay at home most of the time and I wear kilts 100 percent of the time, On the occasions when I do venture into town, it is usually for things like my bowling league where a kilt wouldn't be very appropiate.

like Graham, I'm kilted 99.8% of the time. There are those times when a kilt would be a safety hazard or I want to protect my shins (weedwacking around a LOT of little stones). Kelly jokes that most women see a man in a kilt and get excited... she gets excited on the very rare occasion when I wear PANTS!
