    Personal first

Was at a company party over this past weekend chatting with my girlfriend when one of her co-workers ran up and informed me that her cousin MUST get her picture taken with me. Apparently the co-worker's cousin was up visiting from somewhere in South America (apologies, I didn't catch the country) and had never seen a guy in a kilt before.

Shrugged my shoulders and said "why not". The look on my girlfriend's face as I had my picture taken with the extremely attractive woman was priceless.

You've heard it before....and you'll hear it again.....

The power of the kilt to reach out to other cultures, to quell differences, to bring us all together as one people is undeniable.

Now, about this picture with a very attractive woman,...
Why, a child of five could understand this. Quick -- someone fetch me a child of five!

    Yeah, where's the picture?

And I know that look. I've had several folks stop me--yeah, me, an old beat up guy--and want pictures taken. Just think of all the young, good looking guys around here. Man, if I'd known then what I know now . . .

My wife has finally gotten used to this happening, but she absolutely refuses to take the picture with the other woman's camera!

Congrats on a sterling opportunity, get used to it, as has been said, if it happens to middle aged overweight guys, like me. It should happen to everyone.

And, yes it has happened to me, too!
