Photo blunder in new Scottish Lion catalog

Anyone received the new Scottish Lion catalog? I just got mine in the mail the other day, and I had to groan when I opened to the first page of the catalog, which features their custom-made trad kilts. Evidently the graphic designer thought that flipping the photo would be more dramatic for design reasons, but flipping the photo means that the beautiful Isle of Skye kilt in the picture shows the kilt opening on the left.....

Now don't be too harsh. They're only catalog designers, not kilt experts like us!

Sharp eyed people can see this type of thing all the time. A recent Ford add on US TV had right hand steering in one sequence, for instance...

There's a Gilligan's Island sequence in which Gilligan fell off a cliff wearing a black cap and came up again wearing a white one. That must have been one really scary fall.

Do the language laws in Quebec really require you to hire a mime who doesn't speak French if you hire one who doesn't speak English? Could a mime who doesn't speak either fill both roles at the same time? (Thanks to Calvin Trillin.)

    Barb is right.

After all, you don't flip blouses and shirts. And no guy who wears pants wants to learn to zip with the other hand.

Now what form of punishment would fit the crime?

Hey someone at the company had to sign off before printing - I think the proper penalty is for the company to send all active XMarks members a free kilt of their choice.
