Photobucket for Words not Pictures

Hello All,

I have a Photobucket account and am in general very pleased with it. The problem is that Photobucket only caters for pictures (the clue is in the title).

I need something like Photobucket which will handle PDF and Word (type) files.

Anybody got any ideas?

If you have a Gmail account they have a Google docs feature that lets you create, save and retrieve word processing documents online.

Probably my fault for being too hasty and not thinking before I posted.

What I require is the ability to store a PDF document online and post a link to it here, so that all members can access it. Like a picture in Photobucket but words instead. Oh, yes. And a last little thing, it has to be free.

Can Gmail do that?

You could scan the documents and create .jpg files that would then work with Photobucket.

Don't know yet if you have to specify the people you share it with or if it can be made public to all, though.

I just had a look at mediafire.com. They don't allow 'hot linking' unless you buy their mediaPro software, but for free online storage it looks really good.

I have a Google account and am looking at their file sharing - it might be as easy as that.
