    Photographed at McDonald's

Yesterday the family went out to see Night at The Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian. We stopped by McDonald's for lunch before hand. I had planned on wearing my MacKenzie SWK Thrifty, but ended up wearing my SportKilt Hunting Fraser with an oatmeal colored t-shirt. Seated near the drink station were three teen-agers, I'm guessing late high school, early college age. Two boys and a girl.

As I was getting my drink one of them asked me if they could take my picture. I replied "sure, but why"? And the girl said she had a friend that "was really into kilts". They took my picture, asked some questions about my kilt and when I mentioned that I had more than one they asked if I wore them all the time. I told them whenever I could but my current job doesn't allow it.

I then left a card I've printed up with my information and the URL for X Marks the Scot with the girl to give to her friend. Hopefully we will have a new member soon.

That is pretty cool, another example of how kilts are being more widely accepted. Good news all round.

When I was at the Flying Saucer the other night, (in Fort Worth Texas), I had these two older ladies walk over to teh couch where I was sitting and ask to take my picture with them. I said I would and the rest is history. They wanted to have their picture with someone who truly was wearing a kilt and not a non-kilt.

I grinned like a boy on his first date.
