    please help

I ordered a kilt in my family colors (Campbell of Argyll) 9 months ago for my wedding which is in 8 days. I have not received my kilt yet and I need to know where I can get one in northern California in the next couple of days. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's a tough situation. Who is the kiltmaker?

As a practical matter, it seems you will have to give up on the family tartan and settle for a rental. We have NorCal guys here. I bet they know some shops.

You can get a Black Watch tartan kilt from What Price Glory for $295. Many here have raved about them. They are located in Salinas, CA. Black Watch and Campbell are the same tartan, so you would still have a kilt in your family tartan.
    Or
Stillwater Kilts has several sizes of Black Watch Kilts in the Standard model. It is acrylic and not wool, but its only $80 and the are well known for speedy shipping. Many folks here really enjoy these kilts as well.

I hope this helps. Best of luck. And

Sad. There must be a middleman involved. Don't know that any kiltmaker you dealt direct with would take so long to make a kilt or ignore such an important date.

Celtic Croft (link on this forum) also rents kilts nationwide. Check with them.

Stillwater also carries Black Watch in heavyweight, which is wool. Renowned for their amazingly fast shipping times.

I would suggest trying Celtic Craft Centre in San Francisco, 415 567-6520 or 800 535-5458.

We have rental kilts available in Black Watch (aka Campbell) that we could ship out immediately. We are in NC, so you'd have to pay shipping, but you'd have a kilt to wear. To book the rental you'd need to call the gift shop at 828-524-7472.

    Nice!

I'll bet you ordered your kilt from Celtic Craft Centre. They are famous for not delivering on time.
