Poll: Flat caps with kilts

Okay, since this topic has already spawned at least two separate heated and fun debates and discussions about the propriety of wearing flat caps with the kilt, lets take a formal poll. Time to pony up an opinion and vote.

I have numerous flat caps in tweed, formed wool felt, and in tartans matching many of my kilts, and wear them with no reserve with my kilts and with a variety of other attire, save extreme dress situations (not very frequent in my life). However, when I next visit Scotland I will probably not wear them as it seems that the majority of native scots would likely view tham as inappropriate, non-traditional and even comical.

So far it is sizing up in an interesting fashion, but I think right at this moment the scots are all in bed. Should be interesting in the morning when they sign on.

I picked "no strong opinion" because I think they can look good on others, but I think that I would not look good in a flat cap--with or without a kilt.
