    Problem: Scottish Tartans Authority

I am not sure that this is the correct section for this query - if I am wrong perhaps a Mod would kindly move it for me.

This weekend I have been constantly trying to get onto the Scottish Tartans Authority website (www.tartansauthority.com) to do some research, but without luck - it is almost as if it does not exist!

Has anyone else experienced this? I was happily using it only four days ago and have never before had problems.

    Take care,
    Ham.

This has happened to me before as well Hamish.
Not sure why though, perhaps the site is going through some sort of update?

Update: Just tried the link you provided & in my bookmarks. Nothing. Blank white page. This has happened before

A Ping to their web hosting server indicates that the directory server has failed. This will probably be corrected fairly soon, as it affects many of the web hosting services customers.... including themselves.

Oh well, that's that then! No doubt you have blown a gasket in their system somewhere! At least it wasn't something I had done. People like you should be restrained!

    Take care,

Thanks for that Steve. I hoped some clever soul who understands what goes on behind the monitor and keyboard would know. Technology dunce that I am, I was afraid it was something I was doing - or not doing!
