Promised kilt review, new 5 yard

The saying is luck of the Irish, but I'm not Irish. My wife is, she says I stumble into good deals because I am of the clan McTightA$$.

As most of you know, I have had good luck with Heritage of Scotland. In October I won their Ebay auction for a 5 yard kilt, 16oz, made to measure. I will confess, I got in significantly under 100GBP. (McTight strikes again)
I orderded Clan Cameron, mom's side.

I was a bit worried it would look like a christmas wrapping, but the red & greeen are fanatastic together. The cloth is bit softer than my 16 oz strome tank. The leather & buckles are the best I have in the closet, the stiching is great, the full lining is well done. I really couldn't be happier with the kilt.

The only rub in all of this is communication. If you call, everything is good. If you expext good email communication, forget it.

No camera this week, I'll post them later.

That makes three wool kilts so I guess I'm done.

Done? That's what I said 3 kilts ago! Now, when I go to bed at night, I hear the laughter of sheep off in the distance! The only thing that makes it stop for awhile is buying more kilts.

Hey Cousin Dave,

That's what I get for not trusting ebay folks...good on ya for a great deal.

My Cameron red and black is on order at Kathy's Kilts at a fair price, but still nowhere near what you paid. Congrats!

That'll be my 5th wool kilt...so, like the kilt brothers above have said, you're probably not done yet after all. ;-)

O yes, rest assured I am done.
Two pair of dress pants, two pair of khakis, two pair of jeans and three kilts. What more could I need....
No, Im done. Kim says she needs new drapes and the house needs to be painted...
I wonder if PK is back in business yet? No, that's out, so yes I'm done.
Maybe..
Oh the heck with it, I wonder what is on ebay?

I understand what you are saying David. I am in a temporary kilt hiatus, for a lot of the same reasons you are, things nedded around the house, etc.
However I know that when those things get done, I will get more kilts (have to try to catch up with Hamish you know). So just to let you know these things shall pass.

Oh yeah, regarding the three kilts, it is a good start.
