    Purple Flashes

Does anyone know where I can get solid purple flashes?

    Thanks.

Scottish Tartans Museum has them. They list purple, although the picture of them (as viewed on my monitor) looks like a pretty dark purple.

    *edited to add:

They also have purple traditional garter ties which seem to be a more standard purple (again, as viewed on my monitor). Considering the price for each, I'd go with the traditional garters over flashes.

Country Naturals has garter ties in Grape (a reddish purple) Purple (true) and Deep Pink (a heather-ish colour) HERE.

Their website is under construction, so some pix are not up yet.

I actually just bought a couple pair of garter ties off their ebay site this weekend. You may want to contact them to see if they have your colour in stock if you're in a hurry, though. I ordered Brick Red, and they said it'd be about a week before they had those available.

I just got a pair from Burnett's & Struth. While I like them and will wear them, they are quite a bit darker than I initially wanted, as I was trying to match a light purple stripe in my Tartan.

Living in the Baltimore area this time of year, everything is awash with purple and black. Having quit following football when Gibbs left the redskins, I went drag racing. I am not a follower of the pigskin. I do not wear purple on Fridays or Gameday. I have two kilts with purple threads and just wanted to coordinate them.
