PV Comfort on a Hot Steamy Day

Another steamy hot summer day in Virginia faced me this morning as I contemplated what kilt to wear. Let me go with semi-trad USA Kilt in Stewart black tartan. What a wise choice! I keep cool all day long.

At my workplace where my community residents are use to seeing me kilted on Fridays, realizing today was a Wednesday, asked what’s the occasion? I had a Fredericksburg Scottish Society meeting to attend in the evening. A number of compliments from the ladies, there. When downtown this evening crossing the street a lass gave me a wolf whistle and followed it with “you sure look good!”

With my canine daughter, Fiona as I prepare to depart for work. The cotton kilt hose I get from the Scottish Trading Company are hard to beat in this weather.

I love PV kilts! They got me through the hot wet Arizona Monsoon season year after year, got me through the hot humidity on Maui, and got me through the wet jungle heat of Quintana Roo.

And PV looks sharp too. No more comfy kilt to fly in than a PV kilt.

Just A Personal Prejudice....

I love that you included your dog in your pic. We have 2, both rescues, and I try to include them in a lot of kilt shots. We have had the schnoodle for 2 months and he is in learning mode after being kicked out of 2 homes, so teaching him sporrans are not a dog toy has become a priority.

Lookin' sharp.

You sure do look good Ern ! Well done, dear friend.

Marton Mills offer excellent quality PolyViscose tartan fabrics.

Chrystel often got to make kilts from them.

Best,

Robert

Fiona adopted us. Seven years ago, she just showed up at the back door. After trying to find her owner without any success, we became hers!

I wore my Albannach PV last weekend. It's nice not to have the wool causing excessive sweat where it's not needed
I'll save my 5 yarder for when the weather cools off just a bit.
