A quick kilted New Year's Eve
Last night my fiancee and I had a couple of friends over to the house with plans to hang out and go out to dinner. I had on my black economy SWK with a maroon turtleneck and my black boots. We caught up on what all was going on with our lives, talked motorcycles for a while, and after playing a disastrous game of trivial pursuit we all decided to go out to get something to eat. As luck would have it, as soon as we sit down and the waitress asks for our drinks, my cell phone rings. It was work telling me I had to come in to go to a nursing home and then embalm. So the night was cut short, but I did get a little time out in the kilt, and had a good time doing it.
I am getting a little braver in going out kilted, and always enjoy it when I do.

Sorry your evening was cut short. I am way too familiar with that feeling. Just wear the kilt, and don't worry about others. Life's too short for small minds!

Good start to the evening; its a shame it had to be interrupted in such sad circumstances. Once you get more confident in your kilt wearing you will feel able to attend to such business in a black kilt.

What a shame to have to get called out from an evening out and about. But the rest of the evening sounds like fun!

My condolences for both your evening and the family of the person you were called out for. As far as the Trivial Pursuit goes, I've never known that game to be anything but disastrous. At least you were kilted!

R & E first call in the middle of dinner? That never happens!

Sorry your new years was cut short, but the time out sounds like it was good. Happy New Years nonetheless.
