Rabble Rousing - buy that man a beer

A few years ago after I'd bought my first kilt (ok, a Sportkilt) I set out to find my family tartan (Taylor) and in the process found this site.
At some point in time the NorCal Rabble invited me to participate in kilt/beer night at Devil's Canyon Brewing Co.
The opportunity to attend came about as my friend Chris (MacKevlar .. oops, uhmm .. MacKellar) and I would be going to a model railroad show in Fremont on the same weekend as kilt/beer night.
I said 'Hey Chris, what'ya think about going to that?", he said (ears perked up "beer ?, heck yeah!".
I said oh yeah, bring your kilt.
While at Devil's Canyon he happened to meet the wonderful Debra.
Time passes, they're still together, things look good.
He asked her "the question" (no, not our "the question", the other "the question") and she said yes.
