    Ready for the céilidh

    Hi guys

Just wanted to throw up a picture of me and my girlfriend in our attire for our upcoming céilidh. Elena goes to Glasgow University's School of Veternary medicine. They are having their Vet ball which is a big black tie affair/céilidh in February.

Though I will be wearing a more formal sporran and probably cream colored hose instead. Though I do like the way the balck hose look too and I would not look the same as everybody else. Thank you for the good advice of every one on the forum. I ended up getting this sporran from kiltmart

You want me to film what for you...? Where is my scotch?

I too strongly approve of the black hose. Light hose would draw attention away from the kilt.

You are a very attractive couple. Enjoy!

Do the language laws in Quebec really require you to hire a mime who doesn't speak French if you hire one who doesn't speak English? Could a mime who doesn't speak either fill both roles at the same time? (Thanks to Calvin Trillin.)

I have no doubt whatsoever that you two will be just fine. Have fun.

Thanks everyone, I think I will stick with the black hose. Im looking forward to the dance. I hope i can pick up on it pretty well. Elena has been to a couple céilidh that the school sponsored already. She keeps saying wait till I do "stripping the willow" and then laughs evilily.

Also a side note for anyone in scotland who is a farmer and needs help with their lambing. Elena needs to do her lambing for her vet school credits during her spring break. So if you need help she would be more than happy too.

You should switch to the cream hose, as you originally stated. You've got too much black on in this pic. It dulls the whole outfit. Enjoy the ceilidh!
