Saves money on clothes - you can wear the same kilt with a dress shirt and tie as well as with a t-shirt and flip-flops.. and you'll look great in both outfits

Gets people inteested. Starts a lot of conversations. Meet new and interesting people. etc
Still, out, standing in my field.
Never do anything that you would not want to explain to the paramedics.

Comfort, It's all about the comfort!!! Sure I have Scottish roots, but so do a whole heck of a lot of the pants crowd!
For me, I can see no reason to ever go back to wearing pants!
