    Remember Roddy Piper?!

I cam accross a kilt signed by him on ebay!
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WWE-RODDY-PIPE...item5ad70bb1ea

I'd very much consider it if I still watched WWE. I'm not even sure if he's still active, is he?

EDIT - just found yet another one! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WWE-SIGNED-KIL...item2a04b08bd0
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.

It looks like one of those kilts sold by Museum Replicas. http://www.museumreplicas.com/p-357-early-kilt.aspx Since I grew up during the 80s watching him wrestle, I'll keep an eye on the auction. The auction still has 30 days until it closes. It's a nice keepsake, but I'm not going to spend 100+ dollars on it.

Note that Paul's second link is to a signature of somebody else who appeared "as" Rowdy Piper. Opens up a whole new category of memorabilia. . . where the buyer must even further beware!

    Ah, Roderick Toombs.

Interviews were what made him a star, although he initially used a very irritating high-pitched squeal to cover up the fact that he didn't have even a hint of a Scottish accent.

He really does play the pipes, though.

Once in a while you can see him in an indie promotion doing "Piper's Pit" type promos, guest refereeing, or just sitting in the front row smiling.

So any of you lads that play the pipes AND occasionally get out of hand can scribble on a kilt and make a few bucks off ebay? nice.

I love the part in the first auction that says "A 4X6 Picture Of Roddy Piper Holding This Kilt Will Be Sent Along With The C.O.A And The Kilt To The Buyer." Problem being, it's not the same kilt. ;-)

With these types of mass produced memorabilia things, the kilt you receive is probably neither the one in the polaroid, or the one in the main photo. Hot Rod signed at least a dozen of them. The seller wouldn't photograph each kilt individually to list. Most buyers don't look that closely.
