    Rendals of Edinburgh

Despite a better than two decade association with Stewart Christie, I'd like to know if anyone has ordered a kilt from Rendals?

I believe Hamish has one, if you look at some of his recent threads.

I've never even heard of him but I see he appears as a sponsor of this site. Sorry I can't help you there.

I've never bought anything from them, but, since they are in Scotland, I would advise asking for shipping via "Royal Mail" rather than Fedex or other shipping companies. Because, those companies add fees for collecting tariffs These fees can substantially increase the cost of your kilt as well as delay you getting it.

And thanks to all for your input! I'll check hem out when I'm back in Scotland the end of January.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Sorry Turpin, but I do not YET have a kilt from Rendall's - nor do I have one on order, YET! I will be spending three days in Edinburgh soon (23-25 January) and propose calling on Stewart for a chat and, who knows, possibly to leave an order!
