    Royal Canadian Air Force kilts

    Good morning everyone,

Can someone show me what a Royal Canadian Air Force kilt looks like.

    Thank You.

    Robert,
here's a few links I found. It was really difficult for me to come up with anything that had decent pictures. Perhaps Matt Newsome will see this & might have a swatch he could post. Until then...

the 1st link has the only pictures I actually found of the tartan in kilt form:
    http://www.airforce.gc.ca/central_band/ACPD_e.asp

this 2nd link is for Clan Armstrong, and you'll need to scroll down the page to see a small sample:
    http://www.clananderson.net/fr_tartn.htm

this 3rd link is of a small sample swatch:
    http://www.lindaclifford.com/RCAF.html

this last link is also a sample:

    I hope this helps

    Thank You Terry.

I always wonder, when do you sleep ?
    This tartan is indeed gorgeous.
OK, so next on "Lady" Chrystel's kilt making list is red Robertson... and perhaps R.C.A.F !

Still, if someone has a R.C.A.F. kilt to show me, that would be grand !

    nice day to everyone,
    Robert

Believe me Robert, sometimes I wonder too!

Actually I work late shifts (Monday night is very late) and I'm a bit reved up still when I get home, so I wind down by hopping on XMarks
Then I'm back up in a couple hours to take my daughter to school (maybe check in here for a few minutes), come back from home, check back in here.... go catch some zzz's (which I'm about to do), get back up...check in here....pick her up from school...check back in here....head off to work & start all over again

That's it in a nut shell.....I'm starting to think I'm addicted to XMarks!?!

Here is one of many that I took of the Canadian AF band at the Games in Estes Park, CO, last September. I believe they will be there again this year. They were walking around with their gear and just stopped and started playing. I'm sure that being near the beer tent had nothing to do with it.
