No, it wasn't me. I'm still in Maryland. ;-)

Yes, it was me. I was there with some friends and co-workers. I met them in the bar and then we quickly moved to the dining area for dinner, so you must have seen me leaving the bar area, as that was about the time I arrived. To bad you did not catch me. I had on a USA semi-traditional in blue Ramsay. Where you kilted?

I routinely wear one of my kilts about town here. That is, I have one on almost every day for at least part of the day.

At the table, we were discussing the upcoming trip to pickup my new motorcycle which just arrived (Yippee!). People were speculating if I would wear my kilt for this event. The colleague who is going to drive me to the dealer said "I will not be seen in public with you in a kilt." He had arrived late to the table, so I calmly stood up and walked to his chair and informed him that he was now being seen in public with me in a kilt. He was speechless, the rest of the table, however was not.

Rick, Good on Ya! and a great story as well. What kind of bike?
The kilt concealed a blaster strapped to his thigh. Lazarus Long

Kawasaki Ninja 500R, 2006 model in lime green. Its my first bike. I wore the kilt to the dealer when I ordered it and received no comments. I think I will stick to trews when riding though. Possibly there is a tartan helmet out there. Loud MacLeod would be great as it would show up

I thought motorcycling was all about feeling the breeze and being exposed to the fresh air?

I gotta put some limits on what-all I 'expose' to that fresh air!
