    Schools over

    Well foks

The school years over for me and now I have to concentrate on kilt making and getting ready for my up coming wedding in August the year has past too quickly. I will try to be on more this summer if I can but I'm a little busy at the moment .

    Take care all

    re: School's out!

My wife says teaching would be the perfect occupation if it weren't for the damned students.

Kids are remarkable and a great source of information: If you want to know the truth, just ask a kid.

We had a discussion about kilts last week. One kid chimes up, "I hate wearing a kilt!"

I said, "Oh, you wear one sometimes?"

"Yes," he added. "I had to wear one to my 6th birthday..."

The kids last name is Gonsalves [so, Dreadbelly, it isn't so uncommon for people with Cuban names to wear them!] I wonder if there is a tradition there? For instance, I know someone who is a quarter Chinese-Cuban. Something to do with the cigar-rolling industry and how a bunch of nationals were trapped in Cuba at the Revolution. You find out things like this living in Miami. Anyway, something to look into!

Machummels idea of wedding planning is how much Guiness is needed to sustain the head table. The rest is up to the bride to be.

So, how much do we need anyway.
