I didn't see this posted anywhere, but I thought I'd share this with all of you.

A friend on another forum lives down the street from this place, and sent me the link:

I've only glanced through the site. I noticed some pages are blank, such as kilts and jackets.

Given this example in their FAQ:

Q: How many tartans are there?
A: Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit, sed diam nonummy nibh euismod tincidunt ut laoreet dolore magna aliquam erat volutpat. Ut wisi enim ad minim veniam, quis nostrud exerci tation ullamcorper.

I'd say the site is obviously still under construction; like they just got started.

"Lorum ipsum..." is a stock bit of type that graphic designers have used for quite some time when they know that some substantive material will be put in a spot in a document but they don't have the actual copy yet. It is known as "greeking" although it is obviously latin...go figger.

Actually it is fake latin. It is nonsense that approximates the occurence of the letters to get a proper feel for the layout.
Greeking is something else entirely.

Who knew that diploma in printing would actually be useful lol. Especially since half the stuff I learned is obselete.

The "Scottish Shop" website appears to be still under construction, so I'd tend to agree with what furrycelt has intimated; having built multiple websites (and being in the printing industry), I've used Lorem Ipsum to help layout text on sites and this appears to be the case here as well. It's quite common to see this on the internet, especially with free or GPU software used to build websites.

I'd check back or email the site owner if you're truly interested and want to make a purchase; that just may be the impetus to get them to finish the site even sooner.
