    Thumbs up In Seattle

The wife let me drag her along to the Utilikilts store near the Pike's Place Market today to have a look-see. I wasn't really expecting to get one, but since we were in Seattle I wanted to have a look.

What was in store for me was something I hadn't expected: not only did she let me get one, she handed me another and said "Happy anniversary!"

So now I am the proud owner of TWO Survival Utilikilts - one in black and one in mocha.

It was Christmas come early for me! Pics to come soon!

Pretty cool. You're a lucky guy.

That's awesome!! I had a kilt pin on hold at a local Celtic shop with a red heather gem in it. My mom went with me to pick it up. They had a matching sgian dubh, which my mom decided I should have- to go with the kilt pin and all. I have to wait for Christmas, and I have to act surprised... You gotta love it when our loved ones do things like that for us!!

EDIT: I just did a google search, and it is this set, minus the cuff links:

Now where are the pics of your UK's?

    Mocha Survival Utilikilt

Yes, I'm using an Irish National tartan fly plaid as a scarf (more like a shemagh). Just enjoying some brewskies and grillin' some steaks with a couple friends of mine.

I have the same one in black, also. Will post a pic of that one as soon as the opportunity presents itself (as I'm rather partial to the mocha one!).

Well for some reason or another I can't figure out how to get the picture to post properly... Will work on that one later this afternoon.
