She's finally heading to Edinburgh

My Daughter Hanna and her high school chums leave for Edinburgh tomorrow to participate in the Festival Fringe, and to see the Tattoo.

I have info on where and when she and her group perform over there.

Do we have any members over there right now?

Bart

The culmination of what got you started on this kilt thing has come. What will you do next?

Oh - right - you got that monster sewing machine.

Looking forward to the project reports.

Regards,
Rex.

Thumbs up

Bart, congratulations on Hanna's going to Scotland, and her performing at this years Festival Fringe, and I know they will just love the Tattoo. My one and only time there to see it was something I will always remember!

They will be in the stands watching the Tattoo on Friday August 21st. The weekend shows are supposed to be the better ones so I'm looking forward to her reaction when she gets back. Does anyone know if the BBC carries the event live?

If so I'd like to contact my cable subscriber and find out when it may air.

I am not sure the BBC do a live program of the Tattoo. What they have done, for as long as I can remember, is do an hour(ish) long feature of it, but as I say, I don't think it is live as such.I expect this year will be no different. I hope your daughter and her pals have a great time here. The festival itself seems to be having a vintage year and is getting good press all round.

Bart

As Jock says, the Beeb usually do an hour-long show of the Tattoo in early September-ish.

We can get that on BBC i-player, but I think it's only for UK residents, unfortunately.
