    Single Men and Kilts

Tis a time for reflection, and I've been doing that.

If you've paid any attention to my posts you know that I'm an olde guy and "chubby" at best. Yet, in the past two years I've met eight lovely ladies on line and through personal referrals by friends. I doubt I'd have met them if my on line pics were bifurcated.

What all eight ladies have in common is an attraction to men in kilts. They've all been lovely ladies, attractive to me. Our friendships have played out along different lines from brief encounters to long term friendships. Each lady and situation is different.

Obviously decorum prevents posting of details, but there is NO REASON TO BE LONELY if you are single. KILT UP. Take some pics and post them to your singles profiles on the free singles boards and on whatever fee singles boards you can afford.

Attend social functions kilted. Meet your friends kilted. Your friends have friends and some of them are single ladies who fancy a man in a kilt. For a real treat, invite a date to accompany your kilted self to a Highland Games or a Kilt Night. Immerse a kilt loving lady in a rabble of kilted men and chances are you'll be thanked for it.

Whatever imperfections you may percieve you have, a sharp kilt will overshadow most of them. And, if you can afford a hand sewn "tank" it'll pay off well in terms of attention from the ladies.

If kilts work so well for an olde geezer like me they HAVE to work even better for the young lads.

Your general advice works for us married chaps too. My wife loves me in a kilt and I'm happy to oblige. One of my friends - who is also of Scottish heritage - is reluctant to get a kilt despite his wife's urgings. I saywhether single or married, by all means, kilt up - both for yourselves as well as for your lady!

Couldn't agree more Ron. Since I've been living alone I have met lots of nice ladies, many of whom I would have considered out of my league in my pre-kilting days. I can think of one lovely lady whom we both met through kilting even though you and I have never met.

I kilt up, but I do it for myself alone. If a lass takes a liking to me in a kilt, that is fine but after the lass is gone, it's just me and my kilt.

    Wives, kilts and single women

I have been greeted and sometimes ambush hugged by women strangers who say "I love a man in a kilt!". Michele then grabs me and says "So do I - This one! Get your own!"

I am a lucky, happy man.
