and so it begins.....again
Have just ordered a new semi-trad from Rocky, the now famous "celtic nations" tartan. I am just hoping that it is not too bright for a man of my "advanced" years.
And, of course, you can't just order a new kilt, you have to order a few other items to go with it. (It's the law isn't it) So I have purchased a couple new pair of hose and a new kilt pin from buyakilt.com. Have bought from them before and have been very pleased with the items received.

Excellent choice, IMHO. To me, that is a beautiful tartan for a man of any age.

Agree with this wholeheartedly. And, yes, of course you must get a fwe extra goodies to go along with it! Once I received my Celtic Nations semi-trad, I debuted it with a trip to the STM and got myself a pair of mustard hose to go along with the yellow stripe in the Celtic Nations...also a belt buckle and kilt pin, but I've not thought up clever excuses for those.

Congratulations, and hope the jones is short for you.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
