So, how 'bout that weather?
Ya know, I would be wearing my kilt more often, but the weather has different plans.
-11 fahrenheit. -31 with wind chill. For all of the Celsius people out there, that is about -24 degrees, -35 with wind chill.
I could handle 0 degrees, but this is ridiculous.
Tá mé go dona. I want to wear my kilt!!!

I did have a kilt on yesterday...while I was trying to thaw the plumbing in the "new" part of the house...it still isn't clear. I also wore my Campbell of Cawdor over to my buddy's house to watch the Bears play in the rain last night. As usual, his wife gave me a lot of $#!+ about the kilt...too bad...
Didn't seem that bad out there...they say that once it gets below 20 degrees F you can't tell the difference anyway...except that you freeze more quickly. I hear that the folks up in Minnesota have got it much worse than we do here in Chicago.

Get one of those 22 oz kilts we've mentioned. Wtih a pair of woolen hose and boots, you'll likely be fine if you keep your torso warm.
You can get one right now for $225 if you're interested.

The "cold" has let up here for now. Our weather is so random though...

We'll be in the low to mid 70s all week. I had to use the A/C in the truck yesterday and open the doors and windows at home to cool it down.
Cowards die many times before their deaths; the valiant never taste of death but once. Of all the wonders I yet have heard, it seems to me most strange that men should fear; seeing that death, a necessary end, will come when it will come. --William Shakespeare, Julius Caesar

You wouldn't catch me out in that weather, no matter how bundled up I am. I freeze when the temp drops below 68.

You just need to top off your antifreeze! (80 proof or better)

The temps getting in double digit below zero has kept me inside much more, but I've been warm enough when I go out in my WPG Cameron, wool hose, sweater and leather jacket. Enough wool to knit a sheep.
