My response is simple- I ask "What makes you think that?"

To jeans wearers: You must herd and brand cattle!.
To office attired: You must recycle used toilet paper!
    - I have used them both.

See my signature. I am the designated drinker for the band. I have been asked, though, If I play the banjo.
Still, out, standing in my field.

Aye, just got it on Saturday when I was yard saling. A lady asked where my bagpipes were. I quipped (laughing and in a nice way)...I don't play bagpipes, I fight for the King! (And since our unit does Jacobite and 18th century military, you can fill in a name depending on the event!).....This utterly confuses them. Then I usually laugh again and say, "You know, not all Texans wear cowboy hats.....so not all Scotsman play the pipes!" That usually leads into a discussion which educates them a bit.
