Some good finds for the lady!
Well, I received a bit of a surprise in the post a few days back.
I my previous job I'd won employee of the month and the prize was a pile of vouchers that could be used in High Street shops and on Ebay. So they sent them out to me and I was glad to have them.
Now, since I've been losing weight so steadily (I got back into all of my old Kilts but 1!!!) I decided to treat Diane and buy her a bunch of new clothes to cheer her up.
I was very careful to make sure it was clothing she would like and in the right sizes.
I came across this Tartan Skirt and thought it would be very flattering on her. She really liked it so it was one of the first purchases.

Towards the end of the spree I was purchasing a new pipe as a treat for myself and saw, to my happy surprise, a Skirt in her size in the Macdonald Modern dress tartan.
So I checked she liked it and would wear it and she was absolutely thrilled to have a skirt in HER new tartan.

So she's going to have them soon and will be taking pictures for the Lasses wear thread.
But wait, there's more!!!
I kept JUST enough for any emergency that might come up.
And saw a tank in my size that I have wanted for a long, long, long time. At just under what I kept.
I won't say any more for fear of jinxing my chances. Suffice it to say that if I am lucky in a week's time I will be the proud owner of a tank I have dreamed of getting since I was 15.
Wish me luck!!!

Best of luck on your future kilt, and good on you for getting those skirts for Diane, I am sure she will appreciate the Dress MacDonald.

What a guy! I am sure you are looking forward to delivering the gifts as well!
