Some help please

I just got a call from my aunt this evening. About a month ago she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. During the course of the call, she mentioned that she really enjoyed the Christmas card I sent her that showed me kilted with my wife. She also said that she wants to buy kilts for her husband and two sons to see them in traditional garb before she passes.

Does anyone on the board know of a kilt maker in the the Lansing MI area? She wants to order the kilts in the next week or two.

I hate to have to ask, but what delivery timeline?

Most kiltmakers I've worked with are 6-8 weeks out. If you need shorter, you might try USA Kilts or Stillwater Kilts.

If time is key - I aggree. YOu should try Stillwater or USA kilts. I'm sorry for all that you family is going through.

I certainly have shared that time line with her. The prognosis is sometime next summer, so there should be plenty of time.

Ummm, nooo, they are not far north in Michigan. Well, we don't have a kilt shop up here, but I am about 3 1/2 hours north of them in the Upper Peninsula. Sounds like a nice request from the aunt!

Try Alexis Malcolm. www.alexismalcolmkilts.bigstep.com She is in Florida but will make the kilts from the measurements you take and get them FedEx'd to you. Give her a call. She is good with short term requirements.
