Somebody had to do it....
I bet more than several of you have seen this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=8395671201
Well, after several emails with the seller, all of which were very positive, I decided to go ahead and take a leap of faith. Yes, yes, I know. You get what you pay for, but I need some kilts that I can get rough with without fretting about how much they cost.
I'll post a review here after it arrives.

at $58 each, you can easily get one or two, and take them in the woods to beat the ^#$%^# out of them, and not even worry, as your nice kilts are safe and sound.
best off, should these things be of any quality at all, you can get three or four for the price of one UK!
hmm...I need a hiking kilt or two...
I sense some jonesing coming on...

It's not mentioned in the copy, but He also has a decent looking Cameron. If you do go, I'd be intersted in seeing which MacLean tartan he has.
...and are the aprons tapered? You can just barely tell on the MacDonald kilts that they do, what about the others?

It doesn't state the length of the Black Watch version, but the other two tartans have a length of 27 inches. There is a comment about hemming the kilt. I wonder if having the bottom edge of the kilt serged would look ok for very casual use.
