    somehow ordered three more kilts

I have been looking everywhere for a PROPERLY WIDE belt for my new kilt and I couldn't find one. The widest belt I could find after wandering through SEVERAL stores while wearing my kilt was 1.5 inches and that doesn't cut it.

So, I got out my credit card today, got on the web, and ordered a REAL kilt belt so I can be properly attired.

While I was on the web with my credit card somehow I ended up ordering three more kilts. I don't know how that happened, it was all sort of a blur. I'm innocent, really I am.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. I doubt that anyone will believe it though....

Lowe's has in stock a couple of "tool" belts that work nicely for kilts.

Yes, you've now learned that kilts are addictive.
Will be interested to hear which kilts you've ordered.

Most clothing stores don't usually stock 2" belt because belt loops on most pants/jeas/trousers do not allow them. 1.75" is widest that you can get.

A Scottish store will definately have what you need. If you don't have one of those around, you can try stores that specialises in Alternative Clothing(Punk/Goth/S&M).

I got my plain black belt from a leather wear store in Vancouver for $40.

Now, tell us where did you order those 3 kilts and are tartan or solid colour?

I guess you decided that you like kilts. Good for you. They are like Lays Potato Chips: you can't stop with just one.

Utilikilts sells belts that fit their own loops.

Seriously though: this is only the begining for you. It'll get worse, much worse. Sorry, that should have read, "It'll get better, much better".

Lowes and Home Depot are a good source for belts to fit a Utilikilt.

    Ham -

I don't think you need to worry, I doubt I will ever catch up - you will always be the man we all look up to.

I ordered two more UK originals just because I'm enjoying this one so much and if it got dirty and I couldn't wear it, WHAT WOULD I DO? I figured I needed two "backup" UK originals just in case. I ordered one in olive green and one in black. That actually covers all their colors unless I want to go into Corduroy or denim which I won't do until it gets cooler here.

I also ordered a standard Stillwater Nightstalker to check out their fabric, design, etc.
