Cool Something that brightened my day...

It's been a while since I've posted anything, but I thought this was worth sharing:

I was in the medical facility today in order to get medical clearance for my upcoming PCS to Korea. It was becoming very frustrating as I had been "ping-ponged" 5 or 6 times to multiple offices, accomplishing nothing.

As I was on my way out to my car (having accomplished said NOTHING), I noticed a man walk in wearing non other than a kilt. Looked like a Black Watch, but being so bright and blustery out, I couldn't tell for sure. Nor did I get the chance to tell him how sharp he looked, as he went the opposite way I needed to go.

He was well put together in the casual sense, but it just made me smile knowing there was someone here on the Fort other than myself that went un-bifurcated

Anywho, that was the whole point of this post, it put a positive spin on my day.

Nice! Gotta love it. I was at Best Buy yesterday picking up a Flogging Molly CD, and at the checkout counter was this beautiful redhead. She told me just how much she loves a well turned out man in a kilt, flirted like crazy... Yeah, gotta love how something as simple (to us) as a kilt can brighten the entire day.

It wasn't me on post, but I will be in Annapolis tonight in my kilt. We are going to see a concert at the Ram's Head live venue on West Street.

I have to imaging seeing a kilt worn "on post" is rare. I, personally, have NEVER seen someone wearing kilt on a navy installation--or any military base for that matter.

To bad you didn't get a moment to chat. Thanks for sharing!! And best of luck on that PCS.
