    I had no problem in accessing - but there were no colours on some of the maps - the numbers indicated there ought to be. A second try revealed some, but not every time, and it was slow in loading.

    It was rather interesting to see the difference between the two dates.

    I learned recently that there was at one time a scheme in England for moving unemployed agricultural men, their wives and older children into areas requiring factory workers and two of the surnames I looked for showed a move from East Anglia to the North country in some numbers.

    It also confirmed that my mother's father was most likely London Irish - little is known about his family background - though that is asuming his name really was Tuvey.
