    Something great just happened!

A few minutes ago, my wife asked what I'd be wearing to an OES function tonight.

When I responded that I'd not decided, she asked, "Aren't you wearing your kilt?"

    SUCH A TURN AROUND!!!!!

    I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!

She can burn the supper. She can ruin the laundry by turning everything pink. She can make the coffee too strong. She can even leave the dog out in the rain...

...as long as she loves the kilts.

This woman just found the key to a happy marriage.

That's great, Doc. My wife never complains about my kilt, but I'm pretty sure it would not bother her if I quit wearing it.

That sounds like encouragement from your wife. Wow. Wonder what that feels like.

Congrates, seems like you may be wearing her down. Give it enough time and she may be helping you out on which one to wear.
I'm pretty lucky in the fact that my fair bride doesn't mind my utilikilt at all. Of course she thinks most of the things I do and wear are pretty weird, so the kilt is just one more oddity she has come to love about me.

    That's pretty good.

Actually it stands for Order of the Easter Star, a Masonic auxillary group open to Masons, and their female dependants, and close relatives.
