Just curious. I know what you guys are talking about know, I'vehad my SWK HW for about two weeks, but I already want another kilt. Trying to decide...but I have time to wait, because spare change come in slowly...

Two things....First, How about making a kilt? You don't HAVE to make it out of 16 ounce heavyweight imported Scottish wool, eh? A couple of yards of cotton canvas material, two spools of thread, a sweing machine and access to the internet is enough to get started on that. Or keep an eye on ebay. Tartan material comes available at decent prices fairly often, and I've had to resist the temptation to buy 2-4 yards of various tartans in poly/wool blend more than once. They often cost less than $10 a yard, but for me it's time that's the limiting factor, not dollars (when we're talking about $30, anyway)..

Secondly, I really like your "finger"..."A cellist in a kilt is a cellist and a half". I love it! I'm a clarinetist, myself.

    Like this, for example....

That's 5 yards of 60 inch wide tartan for ten lousy bucks. That's NICE stuff, and would probably make a drop-dead beautiful traditional kilt.

I was wondering the same thing. I've only been in kilts one
and a half months, have done away with most of my trousers, have two UKs, a UK on the way, a Stillwater Regular Nightstalker in the mail and am about to order a PK. I saw the Boulder and on the web it looks similar to PKs, AKs and FKs. Anyone tried one yet?

    My Custom Boulder Kilt

    Hello!

I had SK saw a custom Boulder Kilt for me in the Army's new digital pattern.

I wore it almost every night of my week doing disaster relief in Mississippi and was quite pleased with how it 'held up'.

Because it was custom made, it doesnt have the embroidered SK logo. This resulted in me answering many questions about where I got it.

So, my comment is: I have one and I like it!!

Still not buying UTILIKILTS after their obviously anti-gun photo decision.
