Sport Kilt for free-hiking and Stillwater for formal/work

I just ordered my very first kilt from Sport Kilt. I have paid extra for the pleats to be sewn down. I am going to use it strictly for free-hiking (nude hiking). I figure it will be easy to slip off and extremely easy to slip back on should I encounter other hikers on certain trails. That will be its only use and I should receive it in about a week.

For going to work in a Kilt and having something more formal, I have just ordered a heavyweight wool from Stillwater Kilts.

Im like a kid a Christmas - I just cant wait to get these in my mailbox and join the world of the kilted!

I grew up in Kapuskasing, Ontario. We used to get mosquitoes and black fly. Don't you get those in Quebec?

I was just thinking about the mosquitoes I encountered in Alberta that could bite you through a combat jacket... Nude hiking?? blimey, you're brave!!

Would reccomend a Utilikilt Survival II kilt for "free hiking" since it has the pockets to put your gear in hiking from the parking lot to wherever you're going to be enjoying your recreation.

If you're just gonna be hiking without a destination for recreation then the wrap around "kilt" from SportKilt will do.
