Surprised even my own self
Today, several people asked me if I was going to wear my kilt on St. Patrick's Day. After the 10th person asked the question, I decided to ask for permission. I first asked the vice president of our subsidiary. He said sure, but I have to check with the safety guy. I sent the safety guy/facilities mgr an email with the request. Before I had a chance to check for an answer, Here he is with the president of the whole company, standing in my work area. I interrupted their conversation and made the request once again. Not a problem. People wear shorts, why not a kilt. So, next tuesday, I will wear my kilt to work. With my uniform shirt. This should be interesting. My wife thinks I'm weird. But then, she always has.
More to follow.

I'd rather be weird than look around and realize that I look/act/think like everyone else.
I don't mind being me. And yes, I'm weird, my lady knows it, and she enjoys it.

My wife thinks I'm weird, too. It's not because of the kilt thing, though... She actually loves that. There are plenty of other reasons.
