That is one sharp looking tartan, but I don't have any real ties to it. So for now I will just admire it on the few and the proud.

If I recall the tartan designer’s old post here correctly it was intended for all of those who wish to pay tribute to and honor the USMC. Wear it with respect, and don't pretend to be a Marine if you're not.
I wear my leatherneck in honor of my grandfather. Born in Germany, then a young adult immigrant to the USA, then a USMC SSgt, then a Devil Dog in WWI.

I had three uncles who served in Korea with the Corp. I've been hoping that SWK would make more box pleated Leathernecks! When they had the line the last timem, they were out of my size. Here's hoping!

I have one with a 44 waist for anyone who might be interested in purchasing it. Just send me a PM for details.

Yep, I saw the same thing at SWK so I inquired of Jerry when he might have my size in stock and like his turbo fast service he replied to the email within minutes and said he was looking for more material and that he would let me know.
Maybe he can quicken his search if others interested would email him with request.
