Swooning
So I'm at Safeway in my little town restocking the larder after vacation. In the check out line I hear and "Excuse me" from behind. I turn to face a vision of beauty...blonde hair, blue eyes, smiling at me and making eye contact...she's younger...but not too young for this nearly 62 year old goat.
She says, "Its been years since I've seen a 'brawwgh' man in a kilt, I want to thank you." I'm unhorsed...stammer....something about wearing a kilt every day and you must not be from around here....she says she lives here in town, but has never seen me kilted...the checker volunteers that she must not get out much since I'm out and about a lot....
But whoa...heart swooning...I neglected to follow up and she walked off into the crowd. Would guess that a beauty like that must have a man....and, of course, I have a lady....but dang...what a lovely compliment delivered in a charming way...worth the price of a kilt anyday....
And I was grubby....teva sandals, bright yellow Navajo codetalker's t-shirt and my USA Kilts Gordon Modern casual that is on day three of wear....
Boy...how can guys have second thoughts about going out in public kilted when there are beauties like that lurking with compliments to share....

Well, there's always Craigslist's "missed connections" if you change your mind.
Now... the knob for COLD is on the right.

Those are the best reactions we get. I am not the best looking guy in the world, when I am trousered the lasses may smile if I smile at them first. When I am kilted, I catch them drooling!

Isn't it great Ron to be out kilted? The comments are wonderful, and when they are spoken by lovely lady, they are all that much better.
