I have just managed to book overnight accommodation in Aviemore for the Tartan Army Gathering 2008. Its over 3 days from 27th to 29th June. There is quite an array of entertainment laid on over the 3 days from Highland Games, kilted football match, Jacobean steam railway ride and family funday are just some of the events to be held. I can't remember the web address but typing in Tartan Army Gathering 2008 will get you there.
As we did not qualify for the European Championships starting this weekend, this will go a long way to make up for the disappntment.
I would urge all kilt wearers who are in Scotland at this time to attend as this may be the biggest kiltie gathering ever
