    Tartan Army on the march

You may have already seen this but, if not, here's what 10,000 Scots football fans looked like last year on the march from the Eiffel Tower to the stadium to see the Scots beat France 1-0 on their own patch:

Just a few kilts on display, just a few...

    yikes!

if that's what 10,000 sound like chanting...I wouldn't be around when 10,000 furious scots start yelling and getting ready for battle.

Oh My, Just glad I was not trying to get anywhere then!

Yep. Nothing quite like being in that press and singing along with everyone else.

August 20th (me ma's birthday)... the Tartan Army will be taking on the Green And White Army as Scotland takes on Northern Ireland in a World Cup qualifier... both countries are known for the sportsmanship of their fans... should be quite the party!

Anyone else excited about the newly formed Celtic Cup that will be coming up after the next World Cup?

Yep, I think the Celtic Cup is a good idea! Any chance to don your kilt, eh?!

BTW, for anybody who didn't catch what happened in the match in Paris, here's a short clip:

Aargh!! Youtube is blocked at work. I'm going to have to try and remember to view these at home tonight. I'm a little over football at the moment after the Euro 2008 upset. I can't wait for the World Cup though. And I'll have to look into this Celtic Cup; this is the first I'm hearing of it.
