a thank you to the artisans
Gents, ladies, rogues and rapscallions:
Shortly after Thanksgiving, I posted a "thankee" to the moderators and posters. I'd like to take this chance to say a special thank you to the artisans here. I've been on various boards, dealing with various subjects, and I have to say that the artisans here do an exemplary job of sharing their knowledge and skills. I just reread Tartan Hiker's thread on building up a sgian dubh, and I was impressed again at the help Rab Gordon provided. Whether it's Alan H and the X-kilt, Barb T and traditional kilts or Freelander commenting on sporran build-ups, or Rab Gordon's comments on sgian dubh design, THANKEE RIGHT KINDLY!
It's so very nice to see real artists share their passion for design and production. The late Col. Jeff Cooper wrote that the highest level of an art was teaching it to others.
You guys rock.

I could not agree more, thanks to all of you.

Absolutely! Being all thumbs, I'm often green with envy, but it's been very educational.
