    Today's kilt wearing episode.

Today I was invited to lunch with an old friend that had not yet seen me kilted. With that being the case, I decided to dress it up a little and give him something to talk about. We meet at the restaurant and the first thing he asks is why.... I, of course, explain that today is Thursday. He ponders this for a moment and then again asks "Really, why???" Again I respond that today is Thursday.. (I did finally let him off the hook and explain that I wear the kilt 2-3 days a week now.

So flash forward to inside the restaurant, a young couple walks up and the gentlemen says, "My wife wants to know if it is true what they say about Scotsmen"? My response "Yes, we do, in fact, make better lovers!"

I thought the young lady was going to explode from the shades of red she was turning... In the meantime, her husband is bent over double from laughter. At the same time, my poor friend is trying desparately not to spew his beer all over the place.

    This completely made my day!

But, it gets better. On the way home, I stop by a local store to get my afternoon shot of caffeine and run into a friend and her teenage daughter. My friend makes a comment about the kilt and how much she likes it. The daughter mentions that she really likes a man in a kilt! My response "if you like the front, you going to love the rear!" and I turn around and swish the pleats. As I turn back around, both women are smiling broadly and a young man who has just walked in has doubled over! He then asks where he can get a kilt!

All in all, a great day!

Ain't it grand, Mike? If you had been scrotally restricted, none of this would have happened! This story gave me a great laugh! Hope you were wearing that great Cavscout belt!

Unfortunately, not today... I had dressed to the nines today with a jacket, dress sporran and a belt and buckle... At some point in the future, I will have Cavscout make me a dress belt, but for now, I have one off the rack.

    Wicked!

    E.
Some Guinness spilt on the barroom floor.
When the pub was closed for the night, a wee brown mouse crawled out of his hole and sat in the pale moonlight.
He lapped the foamy froth from off the floor and back on his haunches he sat,
and all night long you could hear him roar "Bring on the Goddamn cat!"
