Was told of this "HandyKilt" brand/maker/style..?

A customer of mine stopped by to relate how he wore a solid khaki kilt to a local 10k run and how much fun he had and how little notice this kilt attracted.

When I asked him what it was/where he got it, he said it was a "Handy Kilt."

I have no idea of the spelling, and the interwebs don't seem to be much help.

Any XMTSers out there with a clue?

The printed beach towel is called "Insta-Kilt".

Well...I have swaggered but if I start dashing let me know so I can stop.

Isn't that interesting...."show me more hilts"? Thank you, no.

I saw a link to their page of "mini-hilts" and chose, very wisely I think, to not click on it.....

I didn't find the "Hilt" very different from Utilikilts, which many people around here love.

Except more reasonably priced, of course.

Not so bad now but if I remember correctly the original Hilt (Hemp Kilt) was not pleated at the back and was actually just a wrap. I do want to get a hemp kilt (perhaps more than one) but I'll get mine from RKilts. For those who see the $100 price and want one, go ahead, I'll not judge you. It sounds a reasonable price and hemp is a wonderful fabric.

Those hilts don't look bad. Similar to the hemp RKilt, but not as well done. Kudos to the guy for trying. I like some of his shirts as well. Pass on the "Long Hilt" That's a mess....

    Just a note:

If you check the website for the Hilt you will find this statement.

"Thank you for your interesting in a hilt, we are currently renogiating our hemp supply and are unable to fullfill orders at this time. If you would like to enquire about the availability of remaining stock/colours, etc the please contact revs@the-hilt.com."

This statement has been up there for quite some years now.

If you do a search here for Hilt you will see some controversy about delivery and service.
