Totem and Rainbow Day at School

I am a proud father, not only did Scooby decide to wear his kilt to school today, but he took the initiative to ask the principal and principal for a day(an honorary title, won at auction) if his kilt would be acceptable attire. His mom thought I had pressured him to make this choice, but the principal let her know the facts of the situation.

Another dad was kind enough to take this picture for us. Today was the 3rd grade totem ceremony, the kids worked all of this semester on their totem animal project, with written and oral reports and the totem hat as seen above.

Very cool. Keep the picture, it will be one to show his girlfriends when he becomes a teen. (My dad did it to me.) I was dressed in a kilt, and jacket with a large "Goofy" (the Disneyland character) mask being lifted by me off my head as the picture was snapped. it did not help that I was always a very skinny kid.
