EXCELLENT choice for a towel! Good thing he didn't write about wash cloths. But, then again, the Europeans/Brits don't use them, the barbarians.

I'm such a great Douglas Adams fan that I had to name my yacht FORTY TWO, since it was my answer to life, the universe and everything.

I think a towel as a fly plaid on Sunday would be appropriate.

One of the most fun books I have ever read. I'll have to try to remember my towel on Suday.

A perfect way to remember Douglas Adams - take my towel down to the pub for a couple of pints. Hope the Vogons don't show up though.

Ah yes! I plan to wear my bathrobe and towel and watch the T.V. shows on DVD as well as the movie. And, of course, drink no tea.

I celebrate towel day everyday. In fact I am wearing a towel now. No one even notices an old man in a towel unless of course he is downtown or at the mall. It is just assumed that you are coming or going to the bath. I currently have two Velcro fastened sarongs that are made from towels and they are quite comfortable for lounging around. One my family bought me and one I sewed up myself. They are nice towels as well. The one my family gave me was to replace the one I had worn since the 60's. Time flies.
I have known for years that I have an affinity (or maybe that's fetish) for terry cloth but until I read The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy I did not know it was a survival tool. Makes me laugh every time I think of it.
Oh yes I will have my towel on "towel day".

Or at least something that is almost, but not quite, entirely unlike tea!
