If standing out is your only goal, there are ways to accomplish that without wearing kilts.

Speaking for myself, I welcome the day when men everywhere have a viable alternative to trousers. (That day is coming.) I look forward to dressing just like everyone else, as long as it's on my terms.

I like to stand out, as long as I'm not looking or acting like an ass while doing it.

That's the way I feel. While I do want kilts to be more generally accepted, I do like the POSITIVE attention it gets me.
